Rooted Utrecht is a community consisting of Dutch and international students, young professionals and more! We love to welcome international students to Utrecht, to foster contact between them and locals, and grow together in faith in Jesus Christ through fellowship and worship. Everyone is welcome to join our community, whatever your worldview or faith background. Why? Because we want to share God's love with the world as we share life together. Through our interconnected events we form a community. As a community we want to be/are rooted in our faith and in Utrecht.

History
Rooted Utrecht was born in 2014 when the Singelkerk, hearing the great shortage of housing especially amongst (international) students, decided to turn their vicarage into a community house for students. In 2018 the Singelkerk partnered with IFES and hired a staff worker. Along the years the activities increased, and the community grew.
